Building History at 420 Kent Street
1868: Built as the Roman Catholic Church of St John the Evangelist.
1932: Deconsecrated and stopped operating as a church.
1954–2024: Served as the home of the Genesian Theatre Company.
2026: The Kent Theatre opens
